Project-Kick-Off
…and another one: Kick-off of the HyInnoBurn Project, also Part of the Zukunftscluster Wasserstoff
The HyInnoBurn project deals with the development of optimized industrial gas burners for flexible operation with natural gas and hydrogen. Since the behavior of hydrogen flames differs from natural gas flames, the project will develop optimized burner geometries to meet specific burner requirements, such as low emissions or safe operation in challenging environments, for example steel mills. The burners shall also be scalable to meet the specific requirements of different end users. Additive Manufacturing (AM) will be the key production process to grant the greatest possible freedom in burner design as well as the easy scalability. The project partners took the chance and got insights into the different AM-processes at our chair during their kick-off meeting.
